About this pro
Davids work is excellent! I would highly recommend him.May 11, 2018Verified
Such a nice reasonable and hard working man. Does what he says and at a great price.Jan 4, 2017Verified
Although David Struthers responded to a request for his services in a timely manner, worked diligently and tried his best, the outcome of the project was disappointing. Our ceiling looks worse now than before he came, and our expensive wallpaper was damaged. One positive was his interest in looking into a root cause of the ceiling damage. His skill set for retexturing our ceiling seemed inadequate. The original estimate offered was $40. David stated he did not realize the amount of work related to this project and felt he was owed $100. I honestly felt overcharged for the work because of the condition in which our home was left. We will have to have this work redone by a more experienced ceiling specialist and replace a whole room of wallpaper.Apr 2, 2017VerifiedDavid S.'s reply
in response to the review. The initial estimate was assuming that their was just a water stain that needed repair. upon inspection I found that the roof was still leaking.(it was dripping while I was working on it) And needed to be patched first. I then needed to cut away the wet and damaged ceiling and repair (12"×12 section). Because the wall was wet from the roof leaking some of the wallpaper came off when I removed the painter's tape and the patch doesn't match the rest of the ceiling exactly. I came back Monday afternoon April 4rth to check the repair and everything was fine. again I an sorry the job didn't meet your expectations.
David was a pleasure to work with on this project. He was very responsive to our needs and completed the project ahead of our desired date. I would hire him again.May 10, 2018Verified
