I was fortunate enough to be referred to WebMVMT by a colleague of mine that was familiar with their work. Upon speaking with them via the phone, I knew that I had found a good fit. It was clear that DJ and the whole team was very passionate about what they do and making my ideas come to life on the web. We agreed to meet in person because I am local to them and my decision was made by the time we finished sharing ideas. I am a designer and not tech savvy at all so them simplifying things, allowing me to understand their process and the quality of the final product was unmatched. I had received many quotes from major design firms and even GoDaddy and was not connecting or getting the work I had envisioned in my mind, for the limited budget I was working with. They were happy to work with me on costs which was awesome and I felt like I got far more for my buck based on what I spent. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a specific pricing system. While most design firms charge hourly, we like to know the scope of the project before quoting. This is done in an effort to provide the best value and understanding for both parties before any finances are discussed, however we do pride ourselves on being 20-30% less than industry standard pricing in most cases.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet our clients as personally as possible. If they are not local, or too busy to meet in person, we love phone calls to get the best idea of the project as possible. This creates a better starting point and promotes clarity from the beginning, in the interest of a smooth process. After gaining this information and assessing if the project fits our style of work and the clients desires, we discuss the process of moving forward to start the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our diverse team specializes in Wordpress and other CMS web design platforms, graphic design and general online optimization tactics to create overall brand awareness and symmetry.
