FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices by experience and also by looking through a website that gives you a high ,and low price and I strive to go about 10-20 % below the the base low price and I don't charge a show up fee for plumbing during business hours but once it gets past 5p.m to 630 a.m I charge $50 for emergency plumbing cause I don't want to be woken up out of bed at 2 a.m and drive to you and you decide you don't want to do what is required to fix the issue then I got out of bed ,drove all the way too you wasted gas ,lost sleep, payed tolls for no reason....if you hire me I wave the emergency fee which is fair cause other plumbers charge 100-200$ just to show up
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
giving all options available ,explaining the process, making my pic I.D available for your piece of mind? writing a contract for bigger jobs ( contracts over $500) and in some cases go to store to get materials with you to help you make decisions and help get the materials to your home with my truck..drawi g up plans and a course of action so when the job starts I'll have a mental image of what the end should look like and I'll know where to start...last but not least ask you what your hopes and expectations are then explain the timeline and start date , this process really helps everyone get where they need to be.
