Introduction: I am a retired United Methodist pastor who has performed many weddings all across the country. Couples who use my services are uniformly highly pleased with the premarital counseling I provide as well as the personalized ceremony that meets the couple's needs and expectations. I take great pleasure in getting to know the couple over the course of seven 1-hour premarital counseling sessions. I will not officiate at a wedding without the completion of these meetings. After meeting me, couples routinely look forward to our time together. I also take pleasure in helping keep the couple focused and relaxed at their ceremony. Diminishing or helping eliminate as many stressful factors as possible on the day of the wedding is also part of my job, and I am successful at it by keeping calm and relaxed myself.

For over 30 years, Frank Trotter has been a minster, friend, mentor and voice of sound reason to my family and I. After doing online marriage counseling (20 years ago--we were both in the military in separate countries), Frank travelled to Vegas to perform a marriage in Red Rock Canyon for my husband and I. His heartfelt, lighthearted and intelligent spontaneity made him a top choice for this purpose. Frank is a person of exceptional character and charisma, and now my young children know and love him for the same!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for couples who have definitely decided to get married and have chosen a date is $500.00 (which includes 7 one-hour pre-marital counseling sessions, the wedding rehearsal, and the wedding ceremony). My fee for couples who are considering marriage but have not definitely decided to go forward is $75.00 per one-hour session. I do not take insurance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I only provide counseling for couples who have decided to get married or who are considering marriage. I only counsel with both parties present.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church. My educational degrees include: B.A. degree from Emory & Henry College, Emory, Virginia (1969); Master of Divinity, Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC (1973); Doctor of Ministry, Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC (1973); completed 18 hours toward a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, Loyola University, Baltimore, MD (1991-present). My credentials are as a licensed pastor, not as a licensed counselor.
