FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our general price falls well within the industry standard at $45/hr. We offer packaging deals and promotions at certain times, for certain types of jobs. Consultation fees are not always charged and other times when they are charged, they can usually be recouped on the first scheduled day of work. Some of our services are priced according to the type job, special requests made by the client and other factors that will impact the work such as client schedule restrictions, travel and/or custom build outs for storage or command centers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet my potential customers before any contracts are ever discussed to ensure we are a good fit for one another. In this profession, personalities MUST mesh well in order for the job to be successful. It is definitely an instance where it must be mutually beneficial throughout the process in order for me to succeed. Once we have met, I like to get them to describe their current situation, tell me what their hopes/dreams are for the space(s) and then tell me their expectations of me as the professional. Clear and constant communication is key.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a home full of things. My "baby boomer" parents were raised by depression era family members who never got rid of anything. Once I had my own home, I very thoughtfully organized and maintained it. It is something I am passionate about. Being able to help someone else achieve their dream of a tidy and organized home gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I have a God given talent for arranging rooms/items in a natural way that is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. From the very first organizing job I took, organizing a closet for a clothing "addict", I was hooked. I worked for a time in home cleaning and always found myself organizing things and making suggestions to my clients on how they could streamline a room or area and capitalize on spaces in their home without making it look cluttered. It's a dream come true to find something I am passionate about and make it my day-to-day work life!
