FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In this format I believe that pricing by the project is the best way to begin. Once I am able to meet with the client, understand there goals and develop a plan then the real work begins. An hourly rate just does not make sense as their are to many variables prior to that first in-depth conversation. After we have solidified a partnership I am very flexible with pricing from projects/retainers/hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is always in gathering information of where the customer is currently at with their project and what their goals are. Based on the clients preference I will either setup an intake call or email them a brief, but detailed questionnaire. Examples of a questions I will cover are: What social media properties do you currently have? Is your brand defined with fonts, logos, colors and voice? What industry are you in? Who are your typical customers? What target market do you want to reach out to? Let me know who your top 1-5 competitors are? Once I have that information, we'll go through the client's primary goals for marketing, social media, etc. Then, I will work on a detailed proposal with a timeline that I will share with the client within 3-5 days of our conversation (can be shortened based on client need).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years in fortune 500 corporate marketing, communications, promotions and events. This includes everything from managing local and remote vendors to achieve goals, conducting very large onsite experiential events, creating and voicing communication campaigns, designing national promotions for the video game industry and writing daily/weekly communications to corporate stores, field personnel and the C-suite.
