Introduction: I am a former doctorate student at the University of Arizona in Viola performance and have worked as a professional musician and teacher for the past 13 years. I'm very patient, professional, and I enjoy sharing my love for music with my students. I’ve performed with several organizations including Tucson Symphony Orchestra, North State Symphony, and Aspen Music Festival. My teaching experience includes University of Arizona Graduate Teaching Assistant, Tucson Youth Music Center, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, Veritas Christian Academy, and Quest for Education and Arts. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the first consultation is free (we spend time going over the new student handbook, discuss logistics such as renting instruments and travel, the students goals, payment options, etc) - Weekly lessons for students around the age of 4-10 are between 30 to 45 minutes long, older students typically have weekly hour lessons -
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
University of the Pacific: B.M. in Viola performance University of Arizona: M.M. in Viola performance D.M.A. in Viola, minor in orchestral conducting (expected graduation date Spring 2017)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've studied violin and piano since I've been 8 years old, and after my junior year in high school began to focus on viola and violin.
