FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We seek to provide value and encourage communication. We understand that the traditional hourly rates typically charged by attorneys and law firms do not encourage client communication because of fear of driving up fees. We do our best to provide a flat fee with an explanation of the legal services provided for the fee. We offer a choice of legal service packages that charge a monthly flat fee, we work on providing value to clients, we do not nickle and dime our clients. Each client project varies depending on the type services/scope of representation agreed upon by client and firm. We accept credit card payments and offer discounts when clients pay their bill on time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we determine a prospective client has no conflict of interest with a current or former client we seek to arrange an initial consult, which may be by phone or at our office. We provide each prospective client choices, the initial consult could be just a 15 minute discussion or may entail document review and a discussion with an attorney.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2000, I started working for a law firm that helped victims of predatory lending and other financial abuses, a bit later my work included researching and investigating employee wage and hour and discrimination abuses. While in law school from 2004-2007, I worked with the local legal aid agency to help consumers in the housing and family courts via mediation and litigation. Since 2008, my work has focused on helping consumers and business victims of fraud, deception, and breach of contract, recover money and attorney fees under state and federal law.
