FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate ($50) serves as a baseline or reference point, not as a literal hourly wage. Both my clients and I almost always prefer to structure a project or contract around achievement of objectives and services rendered in a timely manner, not the passage of time "on the clock."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client and I will work out the terms of a work contract in appropriate detail, with agreement on both sides signified via completed initial Paypal transaction. On any major project, the contract will be built around specific waypoints where clients can choose either to continue with the project or to take it over themselves or to expand on its terms.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been at this in on way or another since there was a this to be at. It was a natural evolution from earlier work and experience in publishing, small business, and the arts. Running my own e-store and blog led me to focus on coding.
