FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After quoting a job, I like to have a 30 minute phone consultation to explain more in detail what the quote includes and provide a more in-depth explanation of what I do as a planner, my resume/references, etc. I will also ask questions to learn more about the needs and expectations of my client and to get enough information about the event to accurately draw up a contract and dive into driving value to my client!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked alongside a certified wedding planner for about 5 years doing doing day of coordination. In 2013, I accepted a position with a firm in the Dayton, Ohio area planning monthly educational speaking events, quarterly wine and food pairings, an annual client bash with close to 500 guests, charity and community events, holiday parties, and client appreciation dinners. I also ave experience with anniversary parties, children's and milestone birthday parties, baby showers, etc. I also planned my own destination beach wedding in 2016, which I would describe as "absolutely perfect" - and I'm a tough client to impress! :-)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am comfortable with, and have experience planning events for all ages. I have the most experience working with brides and mother of the brides/grooms, and planning themed events for adults. Most of the birthday parties I have planned have been for family members.
