Difficult job done well. Took time to help us learning to use the installation. It was a furniture assembly with poor instructions, confusing diagrams, and connections that didn't fit without extra drilling, routing, etc.

Mac did a variety of tasks for me, from assembling furniture, installing blinds, hanging mirrors, fixing broken furniture to patching holes in the wall. He did a beautiful job on everything that was asked of him, with a professional, positive 'can do' attitude. He was a pleasure to have around, and I plan on hiring him again.

I came in town at the last minute and realized I needed help finishing up the “honey do” list for our new house. Mac called first and adjusted his schedule to work in my time frame. They showed up right on time and got started right away. I had planned for this to be a quick service trip, but I kept throwing projects at him and he kept getting them done for me. They moved furniture, hung art, installed 2 shower rods, helped hang the curtains, put somethings together for me, figured out how to make the ice maker work in the frig AND hooked up my printer for my computer!! I highly recommend Handy Mac and will be definitely calling him again:)

George was great! I own a vacation rental in Florida however I live in Canada and it's very difficult to do simple maintenance. I contacted George for a quote on replacing my fridge water filter and tighten my kitchen faucet. George provided me a reasonable quote and timeline when he could go. He purchased the filter and charged me only for what he paid, no up charge. While George was there he discovered my smoke alarm was beeping indicating that batteries were low. He went to the local store to purchase some and returned to install. Very pleased with George's service and I would recommend him to anyone.

I try and base pricing on the job requirements. I also do not up charge for parts/materials. What I pay for materials is what you pay.

I generally would like to see the project and quote by the job vs by the hour.

I have worked with my hands and mind most of my life. From 7 1/2 years in the US Navy repairing Satellite communications equipment to auto repairs with my DAD (Master Mechanic) to remodeling my entire house one room at a time.
