Introduction: I have been teaching French, Italian and ESL part time for about 30 years. I have created many lessons that I use with my students. My main career was in Information Technology, but I always preferred teaching languages. On-line lessons have become very popular, and I'm happy to provide on-line lessons using FaceTime, Facebook Voice Call, Skype, and Google Docs. In-person lessons are also offered. [Both vaccinations, tested negative covid-19] The fun is in watching students grow in proficiency in speaking their languages. I enjoy talking about the cultures of France and Italy, and how I have enjoyed both.

Quick response time and worked with me on scheduling. Needed French lessons for a French class I was struggling with. Only had one session as I had a change of life plans, but in that one session I learned a lot to get me through some issues I was having with my class.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For private lessons in languages, the fee is $40 per hour. When lessons are in person, this can be paid in cash, check, Paypal or Venmo. For online lessons, Paypal or Venmo.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would meet with the student either in person, or through an online platform (Skype, Zoom, FaceTime) to discuss the student's needs and teaching methods. I would present the various materials that I use for teaching. A good audio connection is essential because we are teaching languages. The student will suggest days and times for lessons, and if those days and times are OK for me, we will agree whether to start with lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended college in France, allowing me to reach almost-native fluency in French. Italian is my second language, and was spoken in my house when I was a child.
