FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cutter typically provides a cost estimate for a project based on a review of the work contemplated with the Owner. Typically, Cutter prices the work using the "cost plus fee" method. In summary, we develop a cost estimate for the work the Owner is requesting, and we charge a fee on top of the cost of the work. The fee is dependent on the size and complexity of the work being performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to review the work site and meet with the Owner prior to providing a cost estimate, as it will allow us to visually see what the existing conditions are, and also give us an opportunity to meet and discuss the project specifics with the Owner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cutter's group of professionals include numerous tradesmen who specialized in carpentry (rough and finish), concrete foundations, sidewalks and patios, masonry, roofing, drywall, and window and door installations. Cutter is a full service contracting and engineering company, that can provide all aspects of a project, start to finish.
