FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My open design fee is $50 per hour but depending on the job it may make more sense to agree on a flat rate for the job. This allows both parties to focus on creating the best solution possible without worrying about design hours. If project scope is changed in the middle of a project the flat fee for the original job is due in full and a new fee will be assessed (either hourly or flat). As a designer I rely on my clients to provide content that is ready for print. Proof reading is available for an additional charge should the client request it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establish a line of communication, get an initial assessment of their needs and provide an estimate. Upon receipt of deposit and agreement of project scope i begin the initial design stage. Customers receive proofs throughout the process and will make final approvals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in visual studies and a bachelors in communication. I have been a professional designer for over 10 years.
