Jesse and his workers are very nice people but overall I had a bad taste left from this excavation project. There were 2 major issues. First there was a major error made that cost me a lot of time.. and money. I needed a slope leveled for a court. When they made the bid they told me they would laser level the court. They didn't and when I went to check it it was way off. He chaulked it up to miscommunication... The bottom line is they said they were going to laser level the surface and they did not. Everyone makes mistakes and I agreed to pay him any out of pocket costs incurred to fix his error. Then when he was done fixing the mistake he couldn't provide me a list of costs of incurred and tried to charge me way above actual costs incurred. Again he tried to blame it on miscommunication.. but I was extremely disappointed that he did not honor his word. I'd suggest anyone doing business with him to make sure everything is crystal clear.. get everything in writing, define even simple terms so there is no miscommunication, and check that all work is completed as agreed upon.
