We enjoy meeting and working with new people to help them plan their special event, including birthday party, corporate meeting, wedding or Mitzvah event -- it's an inspirational experience for me and one of my favorite reason for being an event planner. Five stars is selling Theresa short- we’d need about nine stars to truly convey what she did for us. Hiring her was the Single Best Decision we made about anything having to do with our wedding. What makes Theresa a nine-star event planner goes far beyond being great at her job, but it bears mentioning that her skills as a planner are fantastic. She helped us make a plan we liked, kept us on schedule, and it cost exactly what she said it would. But she went above and beyond the planning to become our ally, counselor and forceful advocate in an unfamiliar process. Our typical conversation went like this: Me: I am worried about [thing that I thought was a problem]. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of three ways to fix the problem] Me: I think that [overpriced wedding thing] costs too much. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of two cheaper options, plus one way to avoid the expense altogether]. Me: Can you send me [thing we won’t need to worry about for three months] Theresa: Don’t worry. I will send it to you when you need to take care of it. …and so on. She was always calm, and she was always reassuring- and she was always right. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude for a smooth and wonderful wedding day.

My husband and I hired Theresa as a wedding coordinator after hearing rave reviews from two other couples, and it was the one thing that kept us sane during the wedding planning process! It's obvious that she's an experienced event planner; she has a solution for absolutely everything and, equally importantly, a knack for talking a crazed bride down from the ledge! Our wedding turned out absolutely perfect, rain and all, thanks to TAF Events.

My pricing is based on event. I tailor my proposals to fit with the level of work you need from me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting a new client I like to meet face to face, if possible. Understanding my clients needs and desires helps me prepare a proposal to ensure I am going to provide all the services they need to have a successful event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the event planning business for over 10 years. Working on all types of events, from weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, to corporate events to private parities. Each event is unique and provides learning for all future events.
