Introduction: We are two young, professionally trained arborists that specialize in technical takedowns of trees. Is your tree over your house, fence, shed or powerline? Would you consider it impossible to remove without causing any damage to your property? Then we are the company you need. We are well versed in rope works so none of those issues pose any problems for us. Safety is our number one concern, both for us and for your property. I submitted a project to have about 5 trees and a lot of brush trimmed, as it was taking over our yard and had turned into quite a canopy. Isaac sent me a message shortly after my submission and made it easy to communicate with the option of text, call, or Thumbtack message. He worked around mine and my husband's work schedule to come hear our concerns, make suggestions that met our needs, as well as what was best for the trees, and give an estimate for a couple things we asked about. We decided to hire him the night he gave the estimate, and he started the project the next morning. He had it complete within 2 days, and we are extremely satisfied with the results! He has reasonable prices, quality work, is great with following up during the different stages of his work, and did not mind driving almost an hour to our location. He hauled away all of the tree debris and left our yard looking better than when he started (even not including the tree cutting he was hired for). If you're looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, down to earth, easy to work with guy that has great work to boot, HIRE ISAAC!!

Nice work from Nick and Isaac. Tricky Christmas light installation on a metal roof and all went well. Came when I called, reasonable estimate, competent work, and professional approach. I will have them back to do the removal.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a general rule of thumb we charge $80 per man hour. Which gets you how ever many people are on the crew at the time, a chipper and a truck. This varies depending on a lot of factors such as hazards, drive time, volume of debris hauled and equipment needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We visit the site to get a good look at the tree as we cannot give an accurate price without seeing the tree itself. We assess the tree itself, any surrounding obstacles or obstructions and talk with the client-to-be in order to fully understand what is wanted and what the expectations are. We then discuss amongst ourselves what method(s) would work best. We typically give two to three options on pricing to try to meet you at your budget. Quotes are free and valid for a minimum of 60 days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Isaac got his start working for a power company in Alaska trimming and removing trees in storms in order to return power to the city. He was trained by a ISA Master Certified Arborist and worked with several other arborists that combined for over 200 years of experience. He has now taken on Nick (who has a background in roof cleaning and commercial Christmas light installation) as his protege and together they are working on obtaining their own ISA Certifications.
