- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When making contact with a customer on Thumbtack I always include my phone number and a request to see the property in order to give an honest quote which is probably the most important part of the process the initial meeting. It is my hope that every person we come in contact with feel totally comfortable and relaxed when we come to see the property. Tell us what you want done, what you need done and how you would like the job completed and leave the rest to us.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
This is an important one. Before you speak to a pro about the project, you need to decide how important it is to complete. There are two kinds of people running around out there doing work. Pros and Cons! Pros will ask for more information and possibly more money because they will get the job done the RIGHT way the first time or cover the cost to come fix something they missed or messed up. Cons will do a job cheap on the information given and yes the Job will be done but it will not be done to the best of their ability in hopes of landing other jobs. If it is a job that is important to you then pay the price for a Pro to come do it right!
