FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a price list put together as a guideline for the standard services that we offer, however, job site conditions, accessibility, material selections, and overall scope of work are often factors that can affect the overall price of most projects making it difficult to have a "standard price".
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact has been made, a job site visit is scheduled. During the site visit any ideas a client may have for their upcoming project will be discussed, and we will offer any suggestions as needed. We will then begin the process of figuring out the total cost to do the job, and a detailed estimate will be provided complete with materials to be used, allowances for some items, expected time-line, and the overall scope of work. Our bidding process is designed to be simple and accurate. In other words, the price we quote is the price you will pay unless upgrades are requested, changes to the original scope of work are made, or hidden issues not known at time of quote become an major problem.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do the research. Whatever type of work you plan on having done, always do a little bit of studying. Ask for references. If they can't provide any, either there are a new start-up, or have a bad reputation. Find out how many years experience they have? Are they licensed and insured? Will they be using sub-contractors? Get a written contract and hold them to it. Always keep records of any verbal or written agreements, such as extra work orders, etc, and never make the final payment until you are 100% satisfied!
