Introduction: An internationally known Conductor and Organist, Mr. Graham has accepted a call to serve as Minister of Music at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church DC, beginning September 2016. Recent positions include Director of the University of Liberia Alumni Chorus, and Artist in Residence at the Takoma Park Church of Seventh Day Adventists in Takoma Park, Maryland. His musical lineage as it pertains to organ, can be traced directly back to J.S. Bach. For several years, Graham served as Chairman for Music in Worship on the Repertoire & Standards Committee of the American Choral Director’s Association. As a Pastoral Leader, Graham holds lay-pastoral licenses from the Diocese of Washington DC. He has worked with professional and volunteer choirs, and professional recording artists. Graham served at personal request on The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde’s (Bishop of Washington DC) Liturgical Committee for Annual Convention, and led Diocesan Choral Evensong at the personal request of The Rt. Rev. John B Chane (Bishop of Washington DC – retired). Noticeably, he had the honor of playing for the 2012 Presidential Inauguration for the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Dr. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President, and served as musician for the National Episcopal Church Women as part of the National Episcopal Church Convention. With a background in installing and voicing digital organs, Mr. Graham serves as Consultant for church growth and music ministries. For years he served as the Concert Conductor for Jubilate; a non-profit choir in Annapolis, Maryland, that performs anywhere up to thirty concerts per year. He has performed numerous concerts as Organist & Pianist, and is also in high demand as a Conductor, having prepared choirs for concerts and the John F Kennedy Centre for Performing Arts, and revived the annual Messiah Concert at Trinity Episcopal – Piney Branch, which was then listed as one of the “Best performances of Handel’s Messiah in Washington D.C.” - DC Performing Arts Examiner. Music is my passion. Sacred music both traditional and gospel are my passion. I do not do country music.
