- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are two pricing models offered. For stand-alone creations - ones that will not require future updates by Williams Software Consulting, the price is calculated by using the estimated hours multiplied by the hourly rate. For applications / websites with dynamic data, or those that will need further enhancements / changes, a lower hour rate is charged, and then a monthly "maintenance fee" is assessed, which provides a predetermined number of support hours a month. Note: these hours can be rolled over until the end of the calendar year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I run a small company that specializes in custom web page and application development. My company follows a simple iterative process that allows for the simple creation of a website for your organization. The process is to: 1) Have a conversation with you in order to ascertain all requirements 2) Provide a written list of requirements and timeline 3) Upon approval, provide a prototype of the site 4) Work with you on tweaks to the prototype 5) Create the actual site 6) Provide it to you for approval 7) Work on any changes 8) Go-live 9) Provide ongoing support if/as desired.

B.S. degree in computer science and over 20 years of experience in creating custom applications and web solutions for users/customers.
