Introduction: Nonjudgmental service. Haven't been to church in awhile but want a church wedding? Living together and don't know what the church will say? Want premarital counseling for a cheaper marriage license? I work at a church and you do not have to be a member to have your wedding here or elsewhere. I do counseling in the least number of sessions needed and ask you only to cover costs of materials and a reasonable amount for my time.
I love meeting new couples about to enjoy forever together and praying for, and helping them plan and envision their future. And weddings are fun!

I've known Chris as both an academic peer and coworker, and I've never worked with someone with as great a passion for what he does. Chris is able to engage with students through a (seemingly) endless supply of energy, then deepens that connection by presenting nothing but authenticity. In counseling settings, he is able to directly engage the situation and provide valuable insight due to incredible interpersonal skills and social sensitivity.

Amazing counselor, we had a few skeletons in our closet, so to speak, and Chris worked through them with us. The wedding itself went very well and because he had gotten to know us in counseling, it had a personal touch to it as well. Could not have asked for more.

I hired Chris to share the Gospel at an outreach event where we had 100 students. Chris did a great job sharing Jesus and using illustrations and stories to connect with our students. Christ has a good understanding of youth culture and how to speak truth to teens.

Chris was awesome, he met with my wife and I about an hour before the ceremony. In that time he met and greeted my wife, family & friends. Got me to feel comfortable and not so nervous even told us all a little about himself. When it came to the ceremony he was able to complete it exactly how I wanted. I asked for it to be simple and sweet, and gave exactly that and also acknowledged that I just wanted to get to our marriage and not be so concerned with the wedding. My marriage ceremony was small and simple and when I do decide to have a wedding I would definitely choose to use him again. And I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant. Also it was awesome to find out that we were his first same-sex couple.
