In 2012, Ryan was named “Best of Milwaukee Acoustic Artist of the Year” by the Shepherd Express. Ryan performed at my sister's 50th birthday party. He was great during the planning phase of this event. Ryan worked with me to create a special 1980's tribute concert and even offered to learn a few new songs from my sister's favorite artists of the decade. Ryan arrived within plenty of time to set up and begin singing as people began to arrive. Ryan greeted my sister when she arrived and even allowed her to sing along with him! He sang non-stop for about an hour and a half, and he engaged with the crowd throughout the performance. Ryan was a huge hit! He sings beautifully and is funny and engaging during his performance. He is witty and extremely personable! Many of the guests asked for Ryan's contact information and several have booked him for future events! Ryan is a "must-see" whether you are considering a great night out on the town listening to music, or hiring him for your own event.

After seeing Ryan play at various places in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas, I asked him to play at my parent's surprise 40th wedding anniversary party. Because Ryan is easy going yet very professional, he helped make the party preparations less stressful by communicating regularly with me. He knew almost all of my requested songs and was willing to learn the few songs that he didn't know. When I realized days before the party that the park shelter did not have electricity, Ryan very willingly helped me brainstorm ideas for a solution. Ryan was the key piece in setting the mood for the surprise, playing "Here Comes the Sun" in a quiet park area as my parents (who were blindfolded) were led to the area with 70 of their friends and family waiting. During the party, Ryan entertained the crowd with his ability to play a little something for everyone...including songs for my 5 year son, for my 80 year old grandma and for everyone in between. He was personable and approachable and incorporated any song request into his already planned list of songs. I would strongly recommend Ryan to play at any venue. He created a priceless memory for my family.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies based upon what is required for each event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to find out exactly what the client has in mind when it comes to adding music to their event. It's nice to chat on the phone for a quick, personal introduction, but I prefer that most dialogue is taking care of over email, so all of the details can be referenced online as notes. I have a standard performance contract that both parties sign, to ensure that the date is secure. My goal is to make sure each event is tailored specifically to the client and the purpose of each setting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a self employed performing musician since the spring of 2002. I've had the privilege over 3000 events since 1996.
