Introduction: I specialize in marriage counseling for couples who are not getting along, feel more like roommates than lovers, or are struggling to connect again after an affair. I also specialize in providing therapy for Christian couples and families and am especially passionate about helping couples facing marital conflict, disconnection, lack of intimacy, depression, anxiety, sexual concerns or a lack of sexual intimacy, those dealing with the impact of an affair, infidelity, and pornography use, difficulty communicating, parenting concerns, and those considering divorce. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, an effective method for treating couples in distress.
I also specialize in family counseling and especially love working with children and teens in therapy. I utilize play therapy techniques, sand tray therapy, and art therapy techniques in my work with children and teens. I have specialized training in working with trauma, and children who have been impacted by foster care or adoption.
