I was very pleased with my "photo shoot" with Debra. She is very professional and friendly. I don't like myself in pictures normally, but she made me feel at ease and came up with some beautiful portrait shots for myself and family. She suggested some beautiful outdoor settings and even suggested clothes color schemes that matched welled with some colorful buiildings, etc. that were backdrops in the pictures. I'm very happy with the results. I would highly suggest her to others.

Debra did portrait photography for me. I loved how my photos turned out (and this is coming from someone who normally doesn't like pictures of me). She has a talent in making the subject relaxed so the photos are natural.

Debra photographed our wedding 6 years ago. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding in Brenham, TX and she did a fabulous job capturing the weekend event. She took some lovely candid shots of the pre-wedding activities and was able to capture the natural beauty of the ranch during the ceremony. I especially loved how she used the natural light! I would highly recommend her! I invite her to post pictures from our wedding so that others can see her great work! :)

Debra shot the cover for my magazine the Gulf Coast Mariner. It was better than expected, she got the models to relax and look natural which is hard to do. From a publishers point of view professionalism is what you look for in a photographer and Debra definitely fits into the category.

We have hired Ms. Rueb on three occasions over the last 25 years for portraits and large family gatherings. Her photographs are always of excellent quality, always capturing the personality of her subjects. She is always pleasant to work with and interacts smoothly with the subjects. We have also purchased several of her art photographs over the years.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to find out what the customer wants before I present prices. I have been doing photography since the "film age". Now that things are digital there is a post processing time involved which is included in my shooting time. But I need to understand the job first. A 5 hour wedding and a 1 hour head shot is a different amount of work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to talk to a customer to clarify there needs and wants. Some clients like texting or emails with is also ok.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA and a MFA in Photography. I also have lots of job experiences from Commercial Studios to Portrait Studios to Ad Agencies.
