Introduction: Service is the one thing that we all interpret differently and is generally specific to each individual. What represents good service to one person may be just to opposite to another. Assessing the needs of the individual is critical to giving good service. In the first phone call, I'll find out what type of document(s) is/are being notarized and explain it in 25 words or less. My function is to witness the execution of these documents which requires a current photo ID such as license or passport and the signing of the notary journal as required by the SOS. My service is personal. I make everyone I meet feel as if they are the only person I'm meeting that day. I like meeting people rather cliche but true. As a notary, I've met the most interesting and boring people on Earth. What I've discovered in my time is that it isn't education, social status or wealth that makes the person interesting,it's just the person. Life is a journey that everyone takes, some people just enjoy it more.
