The Music Room - Lessons with Dory Bavarsky
About this pro
I teach piano and guitar, along with music theory, composition, improvisation, and production to students of all ages and levels. I carefully adjust my teaching approach to meet the needs and interests of each student, and I take pride in being a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and effective music educator. My students enjoy learning and playing in various styles, including classical, pop, jazz, and rock. As students advance in their studies, they may choose to focus primarily on one genre. I offer a free first lesson during which you can meet me, see my lovely music studio, and we can discuss my teaching methods and your musical goals. I invite you to visit musicroomlessons.com to learn more about me and my teaching practice. Thanks for your consideration! I love music, and I'm so pleased to be able to share it with others. I believe studying music improves the quality of one's life. Whether a student goes on to be a professional musician, a hobbyist who plays for fun, or even eventually does not play, time spent at an instrument yields many rewards. Cognitive benefits, stress-relief, and a sense of discipline and achievement gained through practice have all been associated with music studies. Music students gain sensitivity, patience, and problem-solving skills that are valuable in all other areas of study. Additionally, music students gain a life-long appreciation for the beauty and joy of music.
