Introduction: For over 16 years I have been teaching classes and giving self-defense classes/demonstrations in Shito Ryu, small circle Japanese jujitsu (self-defense), and Southard Combat System (real-world self-defense) to students ages 3 1/2 and beyond. I have taught various classes that are adapted to the students and their needs. I have also given hands-on self-defense demonstration to youth groups and medical personnel. I love when the light clicks on and the student gets it. Their excitement and enjoyment makes it all worth doing.

Jennifer arrived on time and was very patient with my son (age 4). She was very knowledgeable and not only showed him but played games to help my son remember. He loved having her come over to "play" with him. Unfortunately not everyone that had wanted to do the class with us showed up so Jennifer sent us a check for the reminder of the month since we didn't finish it out. That was truly amazing of her to do so. When I find more people I will definitely give her a call.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$60/student per month for once a week group lessons, family rate of 25% off. Private lessons prices depend on frequency and if travel is involved. Demonstration prices vary depending on the distance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have been trained in a wide variety of self defense along with martial arts so I am able to create a program specific to the needs of the new customer once I have found out what they are needing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 4th degree Blackbelt in Shito Ryu, 5th degree Blackbelt in Jujitsu, 1st degree Blackbelt in Southard Combat Systems, as well as Certified as a Body Guard.
