Introduction: I received my Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a concentration in drawing and painting from the Oregon College of Art and Craft. I have been teaching painting for many years, working in both oils and acrylic and drawing media. I've helped adults as well as young children develop and grow in drawing and painting landscapes, still life's, portraits and animals. Artistic skills can be built, they're not just something you have to be born with. I see your potential, where you're at, and help you develop that skill.
Painting is one of the best creative outlets a person can express themselves with. Learning the tools to outwardly create what you see in your mind is one of the most gratifying experiences. Whether you're 6 years old or 100, it's never too late to learn. I teach you to paint what you see, to develop strong color mixing skills, composition, contrast, as well as many other skills that build your confidence as a painter.

I have been working with Sondra on and off for a year taking online Art Lessons. She is an incredible teacher. She is very patient and provides constructive criticism. She has taught me how to draw and paint with both acrylic and oil.
I was an absolute beginner. Through her guidance I have created some successful pieces of art. I have one of my paintings hanging on the wall in my home.

Sondra is the real deal! An artist teacher who has amazing skills and shows how to put yourself in “the middle of the painting” so you can experience the colors, perspective, shadow and light. Sondra teaches practical ways to learn how to create your own masterpiece. Her calm nature gave me confidence to paint and now, I’m inspired to begin another painting.
