Introduction: Pennywell Events combines a charming blend of creative intuition with a personal touch of "let's party" for a memorable and energetic event. Pennywell Events started in the name of passion; passion for a good party, for an elegant and personal experience, but mostly passion for creating a spectacular event. Owner Alicia LaHaie got her first taste for wedding planning with her own wedding in October 2011. She was living in Brooklyn, NY and planning for the wedding in New Orleans, LA (her hometown). Throughout the engagement period, all of the fine details, such as the importance of the best venue for the event, the right lighting to set the mood, and the music to pull it all together, became even more crucial as she was planning from 1,300 miles away. Six months post-wedding, she and her new husband moved to Monroe, LA to pursue new opportunities. Alicia then began working with a local wedding coordinator and dove head first into all that wedding and event planning could offer. After working in the wedding planning industry for a number of years under the direction of other professional planners, she knew that she knew that she could offer a professional and fun experience to anyone planning an event. Today, Pennywell Events is available to assist brides and grooms in wedding, and pre-wedding party planning. Don’t let the stress of endless details rob you of the joy of your special event. We have experience in managing events from Tennessee to Georgia, and even that party city, New Orleans. We will professionally handle any event, including events at out of town locations.
