- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For personal injury cases I work on a contingency basis. No feel unless I collect for you! As to commercial matters and other legal projects, I provide big firm work product at a reduced rate. I am able to work with clients on setting rates that is very reasonable and provide discounted rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know the client and the client learns about me. I meet with the client face to face and discuss their potential case or project with them. I am very honest and will tell all potential clients the pros and cons of their case. Unlike most lawyers, I will tell the client upfront of my thoughts of their case and do not sign clients up just to sign them up. I am a real person and will always be honest with all potential clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have significant experience in handling personal injury claims, professional negligence claims, commercial litigation, drafting of corporate documents, policies and procedures, and handle other areas of the law. During the course of my career, I represented an Indian tribe that owns 7 casinos (which include 3 hotels) in the State of Florida. I handled hundreds of lawsuits pertaining to personal injury claims, employment claims, corporate litigation, conducted training, and wrote policies and procedures. I handled all of the above for all 7 casino properties, as well as, worked with a company owned by the Tribe that has casinos, hotels, and restaurants throughout the world. I have significant experience in seeing both the plaintiff side and the defense side. Additionally, While in law school, I served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Judge Rosenbaum is now a judge on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and worked on very complex federal lawsuits in chambers with Judge Rosenbaum.
