Introduction: We design and build custom built-ins, furniture and millwork using a variety of materials from the conventional to reclaimed and antique. Everything from a residential dining room table or built-in entertainment center to commercial restaurant bar tops, tables and millwork. We're addicted to wood and we would love to make your project something special for people to talk about! We love a challenge. We haven't found anything yet that we can't do with a piece of wood. Brett exceeded expectations and was very easy to work with. His craftsmanship was top notch. Even the holes for the glass shelving were executed cleanly and with precision. He also applied vinyl graphics and installed the cabinet as well. The only feedback I have is to nail down estimates with a customer.

I gave Brett a very challenging project, to restore a rickety French antique table (that was warped and wobbly), raise its height to counter level and create a kitchen island out of it by adding a piece of custom cut granite. He did a WONDERFUL job, besides for being a talented woodworker ( see the four hand turned legs he added to lift the table), Brett completed the project within several weeks. He committed to a schedule and stuck to it. Brett also shopped for the marble/ granite and gave me choices - I had a particular vision in mind - even though I must have been a bit of an annoying fussy client. I am so grateful and lucky to have found Brett on Thumbtack! This was a unique and challenging project. Not many woodworkers would have accepted such a task and for the quality of his craftsmanship it was an excellent value. I will cherish my table forever! Thank you Brett!

If I could give Brett 10 stars, I would. He built us the most beautiful cabinet door frames for some custom glass panels I had purchased and installed them perfectly; they look flawless. Even though the project was challenging (I had bought the wrong size glass), Brett was able to find a solution and the result exceeded my expectations. I am so glad we hired him and would do so again in a heartbeat!

I get the sense they didn't actually read my inquiry before responding. They sent a positive message, and encouraged me to text them details and arrange a meeting. When I did, it took two days before I received a text flatly stating that they don't do this kind of work.

I always work well with a client’s budget and explain what will work or not work with it. However, my clients always get more than what they pay for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients, their family and their home. I work closely with them to design their project according to their needs and blow them away with a finished product. I’m always very clear on how I operate and how their project is going to go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve taken classes in woodworking and training in certain carpentry jobs, but I’ve learned the most by shadowing someone who does and who’s great at what I want to do.
