Introduction: I’m Jimmy Lane. For 25 years now, I have been teaching drum lessons, which is the focus of my life. I began taking drum lessons at age 12 and have been actively playing, teaching and learning ever since. I am a student-centered teacher, truly connecting with each person at their level. My teaching experience ensures that you will be provided with the right focus, insight, and attention, making every learning stage more valuable and meaningful. Sharing my love of drumming and music comes instinctively to me. Child or adult, I always keep the student engaged, inspired and constantly learning. I use a balanced combination of methodology and creative freedoms to ensure transfer of both fun and the fundamentals. This is what builds a love of playing drums, which is my foremost goal with any aspiring player.
