The Barn has been an active equine barn for the past 20 years known as Sierra Springs (named for random springs located throughout the estate). Previously, the Wilson family owned our property and prior to that, it belonged to the Crawford Estate, which ironically, is my late grandmother’s maiden name. She was raised in the area and attended the Cross Plains School a historical, one room building located adjacent to The Barn.
With the influx of brides wanting to create a rustic wedding, in the summer of 2013, I decided to convert The Barn at Sierra Springs into a special events venue, and make their dreams come true. And so, the renovations began…We at The Barn have become one big family and together we enjoy the adventures and successes each special event brings. We’ve all contributed time and creativity to make the venue areas of The Barn a beautiful place for the public to reserve for their special events. We continue to host numerous equine events, and our horses enjoy attention from our clients, happily obliging them in photo opportunities.
