FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Well depending on the size of the project I will always want a deposit for the material when the boarder is finished hanging the project I will expect another part of the price and then when the plaster is finished the customer does there walk through there happy with the work then I would expect the remainder of the price of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well I always like to come see the projects for the reason being anyone one can tell you over the phone oh it’s this it’s that then you give them a quote over the phone and you get to the job and it’s more material extra days so going to see the project is always the best process. Unless of course they tell you it’s only a ceiling or a couple walls needing board in plaster. Plus you can kinda get a feel for who I’m doing work for.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
How did I get started in this trade I went to work for a big plastering company when I was 19 after 3 years of being the company laborer my old boss taught me how to plaster he taught me the business the right way how to treat the customer and there home or if it was new construction he showed me the way how to deal with builders or a general contractor.
