Introduction: Our lead planner has over 16 years of event experience specializing in weddings for the past 14 years. She has five certifications along with a degree in event planning. We are also weddingmoon and honeymoon specialist with sandals. We specialize in the overall guest experience of your event. We love allowing our clients to be guests at their events. We will handle all of the behind-the-scenes so that way you can be seen. We offer assistance with set-up, clean-up, professional bartending staff, design and décor along with all of the logistical planning with our coordination and planning packages.

Jennifer and the Knot Your Average Events Team were excellent in every way. Communications, preparations, details; I certainly felt like a guest at my wedding and the day of, I did not feel the stress that I know some of my friends have (who were married and without a planner). My mother was able to enjoy our wedding stress free also, as she did not have to trouble shoot anything. Jennifer and her team were on it. I really cannot say enough positive things about this team. Every detail was covered. They were professional in every way. We received many, many compliments from our guests on how great this team was. Top notch and completely worth it. We choose Jenn to be our wedding coordinator and it was honestly the best decision we made in regards to our special day. I was indecisive about many details for our wedding day and Jenn was always available for advice not to mention that I really valued her opinion. It only takes a few minutes to recognize her knowledge of the wedding industry. Jenn is so committed to her clients. She went above and beyond, including wearing many hats on our wedding day. I could never thank Jennifer enough for all that she did for Eric and I. If it wasn't for her thoughtfulness, energy, drive, strength and passion we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. Jen and her staff helped coordinate our wedding day, and I cannot emphasize how perfect it was. Jen and the KYAE staff was on top of every detail, and worked with huge smiles on their faces. If I had to tell anyone just one piece of advice to planning a wedding, I would say hire KYAE!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personally we prefer to meet with you in person or at least by skype if distance or scheduling is a problem. Then we will send a contract. Once contract is signed and the non-refundable retainer fee is paid we will meet to create a game plan of your event and planning. Once your venue is selected we will do a walkthrough to go over layout. Then schedules are created and the day of magic begins!
