FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$65 for the first one-hour session and $60 for any subsequent sessions. Board and Train is on a select basis only, with variable rates depending on the dog and expected outcome.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone consult is usually the first step, we can talk about your needs, your dog's needs and see if I can help with your training process. Once we determine that we are a good fit, we schedule your first one-hour training session. I will email you a questionnaire to ensure we get the most out of your first session. I will leave you with the skills to continue and practice - and if needed and you are happy with our session, we can book further sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended multiple training conferences and week long seminars to learn the most I can about clicker training. My certifications have included APDT and AKC CGC Evaluator - though all are now expired. I have worked with some of the top trainers in the country, learning from the best such as Julie Daniels, Brenda Buja, Karen Pryor, Gail Fisher and Susan Garrett at various seminars. I also volunteered at the Shedd Aquarium for a year and a half, in the marine mammal department - there I was able to see first hand the methods of clicker training in action!
