I spoke to the plumber prior to setting up the appointment. Gave him all of the details to my plumbing situation. He stated, he may have to cut thru the wall to gain access to the pipe. He gave me a quote. I accepted the quote. When he arrived to my house and saw what I explained to him, he stated again, he would have to cut thru the wall to access the pipe. However, his new quote was now twice as much as the first quote. I was not prepared for that. Since he made the trip to my house he charged me a trip fee. He did not mention anything about a trip fee prior to coming out. So, basically,I paid him to come to my house to give me a real quote. This plumber can improve his ratings by stating to the customer, a starting fee and then give the worse case scenario fee. If he had done so, maybe I would have been more prepared for his final quote. He gets two stars because he did an overall water pressure check on the house. Also said the trip fee will be deducted from the final quote.

we are sorry that you feel that way that's how it goes sometimes but due to the increase in work having to open the closet wall and go through the closet under the steps was where the price was increased we wish you would have talked to us about this while on site and we would have resolved this matter for you if you call us back to do the repair we will work with you anyway we can Leon and possibly match the initial price

I had a wonderful experience with neighborhood plumber. They not only provided a reasonable price, but they were also very honest and professional. I had actually booked them for my mom and wasn't present when they were at her house working. Not only did they arrive promptly, but they provided me with regular updates and pictures on their progress. They finished everything in a timely matter and we were very happy with the final results. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.
