Introduction: We work with not only dogs and cats, but exotics as well. Reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians - you name it, we have experience with it. In addition to things like dog-walking and drop-in visits, we can do overnight stays at the client's house or at ours. We also offer a la carte services to be added to visits which include but are not limited to bathing, brushing, nail trims, and basic dog training. We are bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. Caring for animals is my passion. I love ALL animals and want my clients to be at ease knowing someone who is experienced is taking care of their pets. I love the variety of pets I get to meet and care for. Living my dream brings me so much joy!

I have four rescue dogs. Katie has been a huge help in caring for them in our home. Always professional and very loving to our babies. She has groomed them, bathed them and they trust her. That is huge for little rescue dogs. She is very trustworthy, caring and reliable. When we have travel plans, she is our go-to person and we never have to worry because we know they are with Katie and very well cared for. I also like that she has veterinary contacts in case of an emergency for advice.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts on overnight stays in our home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial conversation about what they are looking for, a free meet-and-greet visit, and Pet Information and Contract forms emailed to them to fill out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have learned much about animal care from my father who is a PhD in veterinary sciences. I've been keeping reptiles and exotics for close to ten years. I have volunteered for one of the biggest pet rescues in the Southeast and have had fosters who've needed heartworm treatment which is very sensitive, medications, etc - so I know how to care for animals that need a bit more.
