FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Initial phone consultations are complimentary. I charge an hourly rate for onsite organizing and closet design. Product research and additional services such as product shopping are often at a discounted rate determined at the time of the contract signing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sort Smart, LLC offers all elements of residential organizing. I'll provide an initial assessment to determine your challenges, goals and scope of the project. Working side by side, we will follow the SPACE methodology (sort, purge, analyze, contain, evaluate) to organize your spaces. During the process, I will continue to question and assess your day to day processes while offering solutions for streamlining the completion of every day tasks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed several educational courses to become a premier member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). I am currently working towards completion of a Residential Organizing Certificate, also through NAPO. In addition to my coursework, I have extensive customer service and closet design experience as an employee of the Container Store. Prior to starting my organizing business, I was a corporate trainer/curriculum designer for over ten years. That experience allowed me to hone my analytical and project management skills.
