Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Being able to see students succeed is why I teach. For them to set a goal, albeit a recital or audition, then to follow through and accomplish that goal well is what makes me happy as an educator. Every student is unique, therefore I need a unique curriculum for every student. Everyone has different strengths, weaknesses, and ability levels. It is very important for me to tailor a unique curriculum for every student that best fits their goals and desires.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $50 per hour, $25 per half-hour, and your trial lesson/discussion is free. Lessons are discounted when purchased in bulk. Four full-hour lessons are $180 and Four half-hour lessons are $90.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The initial process is my half-hour free trial lesson/discussion. In which I travel to the home of the student and gather required information to form my curriculum. This includes age and grade of student, amount of completed years in school band, current short and long-term goals. This is also the time where I explain my policies and basic requirements for lessons.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In 2003, I started playing in the school band in 4th grade, when elementary schools had band programs. I continued all the way through to the end of high school. Being placed in not-super-outstanding programs with minimal student involvement, I was required to play secondary instruments when necessary. In later high school and continuing to today in local colleges, I primarily play the Reed books in school musicals; the Reed books containing parts for Flutes, Clarinets, and Saxophones, all alternating between each other when written.
