I had a great experience!! I traveled all the way from DC to work on my music. Skool is an amazing producer/engineer. He's always patient and I appreciate his input. His writer Lively, also helped in more ways than one. The song came out great! I highly suggest this studio to anyone who's looking for a great atmosphere to record in. :)

I've been to a few Studios in NY (I'm from Brooklyn) and it's a pleasure to say that no other Studio gives me that "feel at home" vibe. Like The New Haven Sound Lounge does. I know it's sounds crazy. "What are you doing going to a studio at out in New Haven, CT?" The Team Treats you like family, They Treat every Project they handle like it's their own. "Skool" -The Senior Engineer /CEO of NHSL has better Ears than a Bat! He probably can Hear frequencies only Dogs can hear, so you know no mistakes can sneak past him. I never seen a Engineer who will comp a millisecond Just to correct a note. He's a perfectionist! (Did is also Mention he's a Producer a well?? Goodness! The Head Writer/Vocal producer "Lively" can extract notes from singers who couldn't hear the notes in their head. She has a dangerous pen game.The Songs She's Written makes you question her Sanity! You can never predcit what She's going to say next! She's helped me pull out a couple of songs from my head by simply listening to my ideas and understanding my Range & Swagger. Producer/Vocal Producer "GUDMRNG" is a drum Master! His beats makes you visualize every note as if your mind was a movie projector playing your emotions on a IMAX Theater Size Screen. His Harmonic Ear must have came from a factory Located in Heaven. It's surreal. The Head Producer "Col3Hearted Perry" is what I call a Genius! His Brain runs on a battery Operated by his Drive! He can make a beat from any idea you give to him. He is so tuned in with his work it makes you want to study him. His talent is unrecognizable. What planet did he come from? Seriously!! The New Haven Sound Loung is a Great Studio to experience your first time Recording in a Booth, Having your Songs Recorded/Mixed/Mastered, Starting and Completing a Ep/Album/Record, Writing a Hit Single, having audio mixed for your film/ ad, Recording live sound. It's worth the Trip for me. -LULU

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One standard pricing we have available is a 12hour block studio rental. Basically the studio becomes your paradise for 12 hours. We have an assistant available if needed but this block does not include an engineer. This is a great block for producers/engineers or artist who know how to engineer there own work or have an engineer. The pricing for this block is $200.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We want our clients to feel comfortable at "The Lounge" (New Haven Sound Lounge). We like to know our clients nothing to personal just to get a feel of who we are working with and also give them a chance to know who they are working with. In a sense we want you to feel at home when working in our facility. If your a singer we like to know things like what kind of tea you like so we can have that at your sessions. It's the little things that count!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our chief audio engineer and CEO has engineered professionally since 2009. He originally started his music career in 2003 as an artist but focused more on production an engineering started in 2007. But with his experience as an artist it gave him an upper edge on being an engineer/producer because he knows what it takes to be an artist. In 2012 he decided to open his own studio which is New Haven Sound Lounge.
