We usually charge based on project and type of job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
first step, i would get more information on what the customer is trying to accomplish second step, set-up a time to meet with the customer third step, based on the needs of the customer, provide a estimate and scope of work forth step, start the job and finish it within the approved time fifth step, provide a close-out report to the customer and making sure everything works.
