FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is much lower than most with my skills. I have low overhead and I have been told to charge double to even quadruple what I do, but since I work more with individuals and small businesses I do not charge the $300 to $500 per hour most would with my vast experience. My hourly rate is usually $150-$250 depending on many factors. I focus on results and efficiency to getting to the goals we set. I will also do flat rate bids when the project is well defined.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Diagnosis, recommend plan and coach through that plan to success. An initial diagnosis, or discovery, should not take more than one hour to scope out the project goals. That turns into a speciifc proposal with deliverables and a calendar and estimated cost. For iintensive projects weekly meetings are usually appropriate, these can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on the timeframe to fix the issues and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been consulting amd coaching people a lot since I became a CEO in 1989 and done an enormous amount of work in personal development and psychology. I was also a successful executive as Vice Ppesident of Engineering developing software, databases and other IT products for many years. To have a high success rate I help implement the solutions, not just design them and leave. This means coaching staff through tthe project to be successful 100% of the time. I mentor the people to success and get them to the next level. My business experience is matched by few people as I have strategic level experience in sales, marketing, operations, product development (innovation) and finance.
