- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first began studying photography in high school. I began working as a professional photographer in 2010. Photography is something I have loved for most of my life and I am honored to call it my profession.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a contemporary session for a young mom. She came in and got pampered by my hair and makeup artist while I prepared for her shoot and then we spent a couple of hours making beautiful images. When she came back to the studio for her reveal, she was so happy! She told her little girl that one day 70 years from now, she will be looking those portraits with her own children. I love helping people leave a legacy of the most beautiful images they've ever seen of themselves.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the photographer can work with light, both natural and artificial.
