- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll ask questions to make sure I understand two things: the goal of the customer's document and the intended voice of the customer. It's okay if the customer doesn't have answers to those questions right away; the stage of revising is often where the most discovery takes place!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied creative writing, English, and editing for nearly fifteen years. I attended an arts academy for part of high school, where I was fortunate enough to learn the power of strong writing. I have a bachelor's degree with high honors in English, Creative Writing, and German from the University of Michigan and a master of education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I have a strong background in higher education, college admissions, marketing, career services, and creative work.
