Introduction: I don't use a blanket system to train every dog. I cater the training to the individual dog to ensure their success.

I contacted Mrs. Houk with the hopes and intentions of getting my 1 year old doberman to gather some house training and potentially some obedience so that me and my family wouldn't be so stressed about his manners or him tearing up our house while we were gone, not to mention his manners when guests would come over. However, I was thoroughly impressed when we received the dog back. His manners were impeccable; he no longer jumped on people when they came over, when told to get in his bed, (which is an open kennel crate) he would go in it and lay down with no issues and would stay until told to leave. Not to mention his attentiveness seems to have improved. Overall a FAR more manageable dog and me and my family could be more happy with the work that Emily Houk has done. I would highly recommend any one who is seeking the betterment of their dogs to seek out Emily.

I am so thankful for Emily! My Caesar loved working with her! Not only did she train Caesar (my male shepherd), but she also helped give me to tools to keep working with him after the training was over! I have now have been working with my puppy (since we don't live near Emily anymore) and I have the tools I need to give her some basic obedience! I'm so thankful for sweet, welbehaved dogs, and it is all because of Emily!
