I hired Melissa almost 2 years ago to manage my professional Magic career. Since being hired, she has created my website, designed my print marketing, managed my bookings, coordinated photography and video, and basically does the 10,000 things that I don't want to do. I simply show up and do magic at a show. She took her time to get to know me, my style of magic, and what my goals were. Then, she tailored a marketing plan to help me get my brand out. I could not be happier and I can say for sure that without Melissa and Aclarus Marketing and Events, I would absolutely NOT be a successful, professional magician today. The best part is that her prices amazing for the level of service she provides. I contacted several other companies and was quoted prices that were 3X to 10X what Aclarus quoted. If you are a small business with a small budget, but want grow your business with a website and marketing, I cannot recommend Aclarus enough. As a startup, I thought I could throw my own website together. I quickly learned that it requires somebody who understands SEO and web design. Melissa did such a fantastic job that I am now retaining her to help with all my marketing needs. She is professional, responsive, and has gotten me results. Aclarus is the best investment I've made in my company.

I would like those considering hiring this woman to know of my experience. She seemed nice on the phone and I really was planning on hiring her. After speaking with me about 10 days ago, she told me she would be calling me back the next day (I'd given her some morning times that I was available) but a couple of days passed so I took it upon myself to email to ask if her schedule was a little too busy to have called me that next day. She proceeds to tell me that she was "going to call me" that afternoon. Well, since I am a very understanding and also forgiving person, I just let it go. While still in the process of my considering whether to hire her, we had another conversation which ended with her asking me to send her an email with everything I wanted in a website. I took precious time out of my schedule to do exactly as she requested. For her part, she promised me that she would prepare a proposal and get that to me in 2 days. Not only did I WASTE my time writing/emailing that detailed information that she requested, but to this very moment, almost 1-1/2 week ago, this woman has not even responded to my email and I have YET to receive any kind of proposal from her. I feel that this was very unprofessional - at the very least, if she did not want my business, she could have simply just let me know. I deserved at least that much. After all, I did indeed tell her that I wanted to get her proposal and a website done like yesterday, had she even listened to me and my needs. However, by her actions/inactions, she has shown me that she just did not care about me as a potential customer, that I am of no value to her, not even as a human being. I was so eager to hear back from her but she let me down. I can only think that, well what if I had HIRED her - what would THAT be like???!!! I can only conclude that because this woman has no regard for a potential customer (and believe me, we had a positive conversation, thus, no reason for her behavior), she does not deserve my business and would probably show this lack of care or regard in her work, as well as customer with customer care. My advice: Do yourself a favor and avoid this kind of unprofessionalism and poor customer service!!!

I'm sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency that took priority. I do take my business and each of my clients and potential clients very seriously. Unfortunately, life threw me a curve ball that I wasn't prepared for. I wish you luck in finding someone that can support you at the level you desire. Best wishes to you.
