- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If possible, I try to work with flat rate fees for services. This provides the client with a tangible number. For more complicated cases, I work with an affordable hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I personally do the initial intake and I like getting into the details that will affect what course we can and will take to reach the client's ultimate goal. I also like explaining the legal process as a whole since it is complicated and drawn out at times.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in educational programs relevant to family law as required by the State to maintain my license. Also, I represent clients on a pro bono basis through my work with a Chicago legal aid organization. Providing my services to legal aid organizations and to legal clinics help me gain more experience and also enables those of lower income obtain the services that they need.
