Anna is very patient with her students. She is a very gifted musician. After the first lesson with Anna, my son came to me and said that he wanted to continue lessons with Anna because when he made a mistake, she didn't ignore it. She would stop or go back to the area where he struggled and would teach him how to play it. She does allow students to choose some of the music that interests them, while also choosing music that will challenge. I would highly recommend Anna!

Anna provided piano lessons to my 7 year old daughter. It is evident from her teaching that Anna is classically trained. She worked very well with my daughter, giving critical feedback as necessary, but also provided regular positive feedback. This helped to motivate my daughter to persevere through challenges and contributed greatly to her love for playing the piano. Anna was also able to assess which musical pieces were not overwhelming, but just challenging enough to develop her skill set. I found Anna to be a great teacher.

$25 for 30 minute lesson $35 for 45 minute lesson
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born in Ukraine. Starting at age 5, I dedicated my life to becoming a world class musician and pianist. I attended music school for 8 years before I went to music college in Kiev. After receiving a four year degree, I continued my education at the Music Academy of Peter Tchaikovsky. After five years of deep studying and playing in competitions and festivals, I received my masters in performance.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
During, and after, my schooling I was playing concerts, teaching private lessons, and teaching in public schools.
